Participation in any SCEA event is a voluntary decision on the part of each member. SCEA events are never to be considered as time worked or "on the clock." Neither the company nor SCEA can or will provide compensation for hours or days taken off to attend these voluntary events. Members must make their own schedule arrangements (i.e., requesting time off to attend an event, taking a vacation day if they wish to be paid for the time, etc.) as necessary.
